Moisture and possible growth
Kansas City summers are humid, and ducts that run through hot attics can sweat. The camera can show water staining, rust or visible growth on duct surfaces. We can point it out, but a camera cannot tell you what a substance is or whether it poses a health risk. What to Expect on the Day
Most homes take a relatively short visit, though larger homes, multiple systems or hard-to-reach attics take longer. We will need access to the furnace or air handler, the main registers and returns, and ideally the attic or basement where the trunk lines run.
You are welcome to watch the screen with us. Most people find it interesting, and it is the best way to understand what you are looking at. We can also save photos or clips so you have a record, which can be handy if you are a buyer, seller or landlord.
