Keeping Your Mini-Split Clean Between Visits
- Wash the filters monthly during heavy use seasons. It takes a few minutes.
- Run the unit in fan or dry mode for a little while after cooling to help dry the coil, if your model supports it.
- Keep the outdoor unit clear of leaves, grass clippings and snow.
- Do not spray household cleaners into the unit. They can damage the coil and leave residue.
